Positive: It is ideally situated to enjoy the Daintree Forest: only 5 minutes drive to Daintree Village and all the cruises and forest walks centred there ( and don’t forget the pub), and about 20 minutes drive to the Daintree Ferry and the Cape Tribulation road. It is perched on a hillside, surrounded by forest. Its architecture fits its surroundings perfectly, with huge living area contains many of Gerald’s woodwork objets d’arts, and an equally huge deck with magnificent 180 degree views up and down the Daintree valley. The kitchen and bedrooms are equally roomy and well appointed.
Negative: Nothing of note: the drive was initially daunting but not a problem after Gerald showed the way.
Summary: Gerald made our visit absolutely memorable. We would strongly recommend a visit.
