There is a first floor communal sun terrace with 180* views of the sea and surrounding hills, ample sunny and shady spots in the garden, BBQ and picnic area. A rural setting for nature lovers yet close to the white sand beach of La Brona where swimming is safe. The maritime footpath below the property leads to the fishing village at O'Freixo - famous for its fresh succulent seafood. The famous pilgrim's city of Santiago de Compostela is an easy 38km day-trip away. To the north A Coruna city is 80kms away and the Portugese border 75 minutes drive south.
The attached barn contains three one bedroom self contained apartments. Which are rented separately from the house. The gardens and terraces are shared.

Summary: One never knows what to expect when the owners live on site so in the past I have always steered clear of these properties but after my visit here I have completely changed my mind. My welcome was beyond the call of duty with everything done to make my stay enjoyable. As the days went on I was introduced to parts of the local area that I would never have found on my own plus being introduced to the owners many friends and being taken to local fiestas. The accommodation was a 1 bedroom very spacious apartment very clean plus it had all that one wanted for a enjoyable holiday, outside there was a lovely area to sunbath with fantastic views to the water plus a great BBQ. Other than going to get supplies one could manage quiet well without a car as restaurant's, bars, local shop and beach are all within walking distance. The area as a whole is quiet stunning with so many beaches you are able to always find one to suit you and swim in the crystal clear waters. I would seriously recommend this property to all my friends' and family a great place where you can have the best of both worlds quiet to meditate or involvement in all the local activities.
