Travel Purpose: business
Positive: Ciao Bellini is located in the historic center of Naples, 2 blocks from the archaeological museum, 1 block from the metro station, and with two really excellent restaurants righ downstairs. The rooms are very clean, retain charming details reflecting the building's long history, have huge windows offering lots of light, and are quite comfortable. The included breakfast is offered at a cafe around the corner where the staff was very welcoming and the coffee excellent. We very much enjoyed our stay. Signora Maria welcomed us warmly, checked on our comfort, and made sure we were lacking nothing. She also speaks excellent English but was kind enough to praise my ungrammatical Italian. We strongly recommend this hotel.
Negative: Nothing. The room was also very quiet, up on the fifth floor. Given the liveliness of the neighborhood, I was concerned it might be noisy but we had no issues at all. The elevator works well, thank goodness.
Summary: Excellent location. Comfortable, clean, and friendly. Great restaurants and sites 1-2 blocks away.
