A lovely detached cottage set in its own attractive gardens, well situated in Coniston village, yet very, very peaceful.
Located in the heart of Coniston, Cherry Tree Cottage offers all who visit the very best of both worlds. The delightful amenities of the village are on the doorstep and a variety of low and high level walks are just minutes away.
The cottage offers a myriad of rooms, most of which are on the ground floor and has the ability to comfortably sleep up to 9 guests. Aesthetically pleasing and well thought out, Cherry Tree truly is a 'home from home', once visited, never forgotten.
The cottage has bags of space: there's rooms to bring families together yet room enough to spread out too. And with a big garden with stunning views of The Old Man, and hot tub seating 8, this cottage makes a great family holiday base.
Ground floor
A pretty path leads down the side to the porch, which is great for leaving your outdoor gear in. This takes you into the cottage kitchen that has everything that you'll need, electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, washing machine and most importantly, views over the fells. A delightful conservatory extends out from the kitchen, overlooking the lawn, rockery and the scenery beyond.
The dining room will comfortably seat ten and has French doors out onto the garden, there is also a gas fire in here, perfect for those cold winter nights.
The spacious living room will comfortably accommodate the largest of families as they fight over the sofas in front of the wood-burning stove. Families will be kept entertained with the TV, DVD player & hi-fi system. There's access to the garden and a lovely patio/terrace directly from the sitting room.
