3 Bedroom Cottage with Ocean View, Bedding and Kitchen
A Brief Description of Thompson's Point
Thompson's Point is a unique area of summer camps some dating from the 19th century. It is a lovely, pristine wooded area that provides privacy and beautiful sites for the individual camps. The natural, wooded habitat encourages bird watching and the rustic, quiet dirt roads, that provide access to the camps, are ideal for walking, running and biking.
Camp Description
The camp has two large lakeside decks connected by a catwalk across the front of the camp. There are spectacular views of of the lake and the Adirondack Mountains from the camp, its decks and beachfront. The beach is a natural flat-rock cove with a 16 foot dock.
The camp has a modern, complete kitchen with dishwasher. The living area which includes the living room, dining area and kitchen is open and pleasantly furnished. There are two bedrooms on the entry level. Both have queen beds and one has views of the lake. There is a bath with shower on the entry level. The loft is large and has a double bed, a single bed and a smaller bed suitable for a child, plus a half bath. Washer and dryer are in a separate area.
Drinking Water is provided in sealed gallon jugs. The tap water can not be consumed by any guests because it is lake water. The tap water is just fine for washing dishes, cleaning, and showering. All guests must be made aware to drink the bottled drinking water.
The decks are furnished with dining tables and chairs, a gas grill (a charcoal grill is available) and furniture for relaxing and enjoying the views.
The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms are completely furnished. There is a good gas heating system in case you have a nippy day and the camp is insulated.
