Summary: We had the most incredible stay at Casita Tucan. Starting with the check in process- so smooth and the hosts were extremely accommodating letting us leave our luggage in the main office before check in so we could go explore. Staying in this house is an experience unlike anywhere else. You are quite literally in the jungle. The house was surrounded by sloths (a mom and baby), tons of capuchin monkeys, and the best was being woken up by the howler monkeys at 5am. Puerto viejo is such a fun little town, the beaches are stunning. Casita Tucan had a brand new redone kitchen and deck boards. The hosts were extremely responsive and resolved any issues very fast. Would highly recommend this place.
