The villa boasts a splendid portico which goes along the perimeter of the house for over 200 sq. m furnished as an outdoor living room with sofas and fireplace, as well as many tables for outdoor meals, one of which also doubles up as a ping pong table! The pool is 13 metres by 6.5 with a depth of 0.8-2.2 metres and is in the large garden in front of the portico; solar panels can heat the pool, for all seasons, and there is also an outdoor shower. The farmhouse is over 300 years old but has recently been renovated, with great attention to detail and to the furniture, painted and kept by the owner herself, a famous “fine art” artist. The property is on 2 floors plus an attic, internally joined. A large front door leads from the parking to the ground floor portico, where every room has a French door for indoor access. The ground floor has a large open space with an ample, fully-equipped kitchen and satellite TV, the dining room with large windows overlooking the grove, the salon and studio, both with large fireplace, a bathroom with shower (no bidet). On the first floor you will find 2 double bedrooms with ceiling fans, a washing room and a bathroom with shower (no bidet). The attic floor has two more large double bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub (no bidet).
In the garden on the edge of the grove there are two small wooden houses, camouflaged in their setting, one with double bedroom and the other with bathroom (no bidet) with a walk-in shower with a large window illuminating the grove.
Location
The villa is just a few minutes from the residential area of Castellina Marittima, an old Etruscan village, in a great panoramic, sunny position with a great view of the surrounding hills, partially up to the coast between Rosignano Marittimo and Cecina.
