Casa Karima is a perfect, private villa location for 6 guests. Awonderful 2 level villa with the main living accommodation on the upper floor with 2 double bedrooms, a family bathroom, open plan living room, wonderful Naya with panoramic sea views and an additional WC. The bedrooms on the upper level consist of one double but the other room can be configured as either a double or a twin.
The lower level comprises of the third bedroom, which can also be a double or a twin;with ensuite bathroom and a cute living room leading directly to thepool. The lower level also benefits from a fabuloussummer kitchen, chill out area,gardenand the securemain parking for 2 small cars or 1 larger SUV. Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac the villa is a peaceful, tranquil getaway with everything a family orsmall group of 6 guests to enjoy.
The front door leads through a short hallway to the open plan living room, with more than enough comfy armchair and sofa seating. There is a 55" smart TV with Netflix / Prime for guests to use with their own accounts and a satellite system with French TV and a number of multi language news channels. From the bright living room you access the well equipped kitchen with Nespresso machine, fridge freezer, oven, microwave and induction hob.
You access from the rear of the living area, both bedrooms and the family bathroom which has a seated shower and grab rail for those with mobility issues or the elderly. The upper floor of the villa also has a ramp to the front door for disabled access however only the upper level can be accessed by the front door.To access the pool with a wheelchair or for those who cannot use stairs you need to comefrom the drive to the pool via the car main doublegate entrance at street level.
The summer kitchen is fully shaded with comfy seating for all, a gas hob, gasBBQ, sink and preparation area. A wonderful spot for lazy long lunches while watching the kids play in the pool.
The lower level bedroom and living room space leads directly out to the large 12m x 4mpool and summer kitchen with its own ensuite that can also be used as the WC when by the pool.
The lower level has sunbeds for 6 guestsand a parasol for shade. There are multiple shaded areas in the garden with seating and tables for reading, coffee, or a game of Backgammon.
The villa benefits from 100mb fibre optic internet service.
Casa Karima is a 3 minute stroll to the Mirador lighthouse and has a 2 restaurants / bars within walking distance and many more within a few minutes drive. The main Arenal beach area is a 15 minute drive away although there are tennis courts and padel courts along with a restaurant and bar just a couple of minutes away across the road from the entrance to La Siesta. The Wimar mini market is a 3 minute drive away and has an excellent wine selection and all the usual products you would find in a larger store.
This villa is strictly no smoking and pets are not allowed.
Linen and bath / hand towels / pool towels are provided free of charge.
Villa will be cleaned only between lets, however a full linen and towel changeover will be done weekly on request and at extra charge.
Golf: Within 20 minutes drive of the villa is Javea Golf Club situated between Moraira and Javea and is open all year round. The course is a 9 hole, par 72 and 3,035 metres. The course is easy to play and relatively flat. Other facilities include: driving range, putting green, bar and restaurant. The Olazabal designed La Sella Golf Course is 10 minutes drive along the Montgo road near the village of Jesus Pobre. The course has 27 holes, par 72 and is 6,029 metres. The course although flat has many trees and water obstacles and presents a very good challenge. Facilities include: driving range, putting green, motorised trolleys, club bar, lounge bar, restaurant and swimming pool. Both Javea and La Sella clubs have tennis courts. Within a45 minute drive north in Oliva is Oliva Nova Golf Club, designed by Seve Ballesteros. This testing course 18 holes, par 72 and 7,051 metres. The club has a shop, driving range, restaurant, swimming pool and fitness centre.
Other areas to explore: Javea is made up of three areas, the Arenal with its beautiful sandy beach, bars and restaurants. During the summer evenings the Arenal is busy with crafts stalls, artists and musicians. The port area with its fish market and promenade and the old town with its narrow streets, shops, historic buildings. There is a colourful market every Thursday morning. 10k from Javea is the town and port of Denia with daily crossings to the Balearic islands. Denia boasts miles of sandy beaches with its tree lined streets, pavement cafes, bars and restaurants. The resort of Benidorm is only a 30 minutes drive away and close by is Terra Mitica, which is one of Europes largest theme parks. Visit Aqualandia a themed water park and next door Mundomar with its dolphins, seals and parrots. A drive to Guadalest is a must with its quaint shops, narrow cobbled winding streets and spectacular views from the village square.
Javea Town: Javea lies between pine-covered Cabo De La Nao to the South and Cabo De San Antonio to the North. The town is ideal for a family holiday, especially in the Spring when the area is ablaze with blossom from the almonds and the scents of orange and lemon trees fill the air. The World Health Organisation has proclaimed Javea to be ‘environmentally near perfect’ and you can bask in the Costa Blanca’s brightest sunshine here on about 320 days of the year. Javea town nestles at the foot of 2,500 feet Mount Montgo, a designated nature reserve. It boasts a 16th century church, covered market and for the historically minded a museum housing a nationally important collection of rare Iberian finds from Montgo. After exploring the town’s fascinating narrow streets you can make your way to the old fishing port about 1 mile away. To the south of the old town lies the Arenal beach, a broad crescent of fine golden sand backed by a promenade of shops and restaurants.
La Guardia/Cabo De La Nao areas: Be sure to stop at the ‘Miradors’ (viewing points), several of which are located within a few minutes drive of Casa Mallandos. Without exception, they offer stunning views from cliff top perches of rocky coves and crystal clear water. This is snorkelling territory at its best, reminiscent of Cornwall but with guaranteed good weather! From Cabo De La Nao, it is possible on a clear day to see all the way to Ibiza 100 kms away. Also close by is the idyllic bay of La Granadella, so picturesque that it is often featured on Javea’s postcards.
Denia and Oliva to the north of Javea have some of the most spectacular long uninterrupted beaches with golden sand and even in the height of summer plenty of open space. Just outside Denia at Ondara there is the large, late night shopping centre of La Marina with boutique stores and a multi screen cinema for the kids.
