Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The villa was in a beautiful, peaceful location, very private, but not isolated. Cooking pots and pans, utensils and condiments were plentiful. This could be the ultimate destination with a little time and attention.
Negative: A decent coffee machine would be ideal. Although air conditioning is in all bedrooms, a unit is necessary in the main living area, as ceiling fans are just not enough with the high summer temperatures. A door and window sensitive unit here would ensure economic running. The wooden beds upstairs are very creaky and noisy, and simple divans would eliminate this problem. The upstairs bathroom smelled terribly every single time water was run, even with all plugs in place. This needs addressing. Downstairs bathroom was fine. The sofas need decent covers, or to be replaced. Bedding needs to be replaced, as the covers were faded and rough. Old pool toys and old outdoor furniture, broken washing line, broken barbecue, dead and plastic plants etc need to be removed. The pool is fantastic, but the spa needs attention, especially with the timer for the jets staying on for hours. The internal parking area needs to be accessible, as leaving the car outside causes problems for other road users.
