ABOUT CASA COMIGNOLO
This stylish and modern apartment with independent access comprises of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is a very generous size, suitable for a family or friends. The front of the apartment is on a raised level and accessed by a large private garden, with an outdoor dining table and chairs it also enjoys one of the most beautiful panoramic views over the Tuscan countryside. The entrance leads to a very large living room with 2 comfortable sofas and an elegant armchair, while 4 large windows add an abundance of natural light to fill the room, and offering great views of the private garden. A working fireplace will add a little warmth or even just for toasting some marshmallows. A satellite TV is also available. Criss-crossed wood flooring runs throughout the apartment, with chestnut beams running along the ceiling.
The dining area has a beautiful wooden table and seats up to 6 people and leads directly into the kitchen which is fully fitted including: dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave oven, coffee machine and a kettle, a great space to prepare all your holiday meals.
Out of the 3 double bedrooms, 2 are en suite and one has a bathtub. Each bedroom enjoys fantastic views over the surrounding countryside. All of them contain double beds, with 1 having a classic 4-poster bed. The loft area contains a double sofa bed, which can sleep an extra 2 people.
ABOUT THE RESORT
This charming farmhouse complex is the result of a recent and elegant restoration of a typical Tuscan country house, near the town of Casole d’Elsa, in the province of Siena. The Etruscan hills surrounding the property are but a short distance from the most celebrated Renaissance cities and towns of Florence, Siena and Volterra. It was originally built in the 19th century, and it represents a model of Tuscan architecture.
The entire property comprises of 6 apartments in the main building, a separate barn with private gardens (Il Fienile), a restaurant, and a fantastic infinity swimming pool, all of this surrounded by 55 hectares of vineyards of Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot grapes and an olive grove. At the property you can enjoy the typical Tuscan cuisine at the restaurant run by the owner, while admiring the beautiful landscape.
Mountain bike rentals and guided bike tours are available, together with a number of golf clubs within easy reach: the old established and prestigious “Ugolino Golf Club” in Florence (18 holes), or the nearby “Abbadia Golf” (9 holes), and the renown “Royal Golf La Bagnaia” (18 holes), we can arrange tee-times and transport as required.
