HOUSE FEATURES
This Captiva Island penthouse villa is beautifully appointed with hardwood floors, granite countertops, a full kitchen, a large living room and dining room overlooking the landscaped pool and spa below. It has 2 bedroom, 2 baths, and is a third-floor unit. This is not a shared accommodation. It is the entire 3rd floor of the Celebration House, a 5,000 square foot home on Captiva Island within walking distance to the beach. There is a private entrance and exit.
Each of the two bedrooms has their own bathroom; one bedroom with a king-sized bed and the other with a queen-sized bed. The 2nd bedroom has its own private entrance and exit. On one side, the Celebration House is just a short stroll to the famous Captiva Island beach on the Gulf of Mexico and the inter coastal on the other side.
There's plenty to see and do on Captiva Island. Simply relax, take a nice stroll along the beach searching for shells or if you are feeling more adventurous, rent kayaks and get an up close and personal look at the local birds, dolphin flitting about and much more.

Summary: Nice property with great location. Some exterior issues were to be expected as our stay was just weeks after a hurricane. Pool was unusable for the entire stay, but again it was post hurricane. The climate control was broken for half the suite so one side was cool and the other uncomfortably hot. Some other minor deferred maintenance issues. The stairs to get to the penthouse are a lot, so factor that in if mobility is an issue. Overall nice property in a great location. Just needs a little love.
