Summary: The Cottage was perfect. It’s only a few blocks from anything that you might want or need. It’s literally a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk and beach. There are tons of restaurants and stores within 5 minutes as well! The Cottage has plenty of space for the whole family, and is stocked with everything you may possibly need for a week long stay. So many cool things to check out in the area. Fort Fisher, The Aquarium, Kure Beach Pier,The Battleship Carolina, as well as many trails at the state park. I definitely recommend trying Britt’s Donuts on the boardwalk, Uncle Vinny’s for New York style pizza, The Peach Cobbler Factory for cobbler flights,The veggie wagon for freshly made ready to cook dinners, dips, unique items, coffee and veggies. We really loved the Cottage and the area and would definitely rent it again.
