A spacious, newly renovated home set on over 6 acres. Bright, airy, and calm, the house offers three levels for groups to spend time together while also spreading out.
The main floor offers a full kitchen with Wolf range and wine fridge, a dining table that seats up to 14, a living room with working gas fireplace, four bedrooms (all with a full, queen, or king bed), and two full bathrooms. All common spaces and half the bedrooms offer Catskill Mountain views. There is a huge deck running the length of the kitchen and dining room.
The master bathroom has a clawfoot tub, separate shower area, and a double vanity – perfect for bridal photos. The hall bath has also been renovated with a farmhouse sink and walk-in shower/bath. There is a half bathroom on this floor as well, providing an extra sink and mirror for large groups getting ready for a big event.
The top floor provides two bedrooms and a lofted office area. The larger of the two bedrooms has a queen bed and en-suite bath/shower. The views from the skylight are amongst the best in the house. The second bedroom is furnished with a full bed.
Downstairs is an open space/games room with vintage fireplace, TV area (and pull-out couch that sleeps 2 small adults), ping pong table, and yoga area. One set of double doors opens into the rolling hills of the backyard. The other opens directly into the in-ground pool. There is a full bathroom with shower on this floor as well, perfect for rinsing off after leaving the pool.
The grounds are what make the property truly magical. Watch the sunset from the deck, sit in the hammock and contemplate nature, roll down the hills to the meadow, wander down to Claverack Creek (no swimming!) or roast marshmallows by the fire pit. A hidden gem less than a 10 minute drive from the Hudson Amtrak station.
