Positive: Bythynnod Newydd is a lovely cottage. Very well presented, clean and has all the necessary amenities. The cottage is perfect for families as it is well stocked with toys both inside and outside in the garden with a little playhouse full of toys. There is also a great selection of books and DVD’s. Although you can stream Amazon Prime and Netflix, great for the teenagers. Ann was an amazing hostess and checked in on us over the weekend. The directions given to the cottage were great and as we arrived late into the evening these were perfect as we found the cottage quickly. The outside patio area is well located making it a lovely sun trap in the evening. We loved the little touches throughout the cottage from the welcome basket with a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates for the kids to the milk left in the fridge. There were plenty of towels and the beds lovely to sleep in and the duvets perfect tog as it went a little chilly at night. Although there are heaters in the rooms. A gorgeous log fire in the living room, which we didn’t need to use. The beach is 10 minutes away and is sandy with a few rock pools to explore. A beach cafe, toilets and picnic benches. Trefor is in a great location to explore Nefyn, Pwhelli, Abersoch, Criccieth and Snowdonia national park. We definitely recommend staying here and will definitely be booking for next year.
Negative: The only small issue was the street parking, however this is beyond Ann’s control.
Summary: Delightful cottage in a wonderful location.
