Summary: Although very spacious and in a convenient location for our purposes, this (not) hotel had some inconveniences that made our stay less than desirable. First off, there is no reception here, there is a phone on a counter to gain entry however it was broken. They gave a local number to call the office but failed to provide the appropriate international calling code and area code. Good thing my cell still had power after a long journey, I was able to look up the proper codes to call. Eventually someone then came and took us to the office for keys etc. staff were cool but not offensive and did not apologize for the inconvenience The next day they were painting our stairwell, halls and lobby. The odour was very strong and we were not notified that this was taking place and had a terrible nights sleep as the paint smell was so strong. The property is “tired” today the least, stained carpets, furniture etc, with again no notice that our terrace would be closed due to disrepair. We are not satisfied with the lack of communication regarding these issues and paid a fairly high price for a sub par experience.
