2 Bedroom Cottage with Bedding and Kitchen
Welcome to this unique piece of Bras d’Or Lake! We are situated on two clam coves with over one kilometer of waterfront walking paths. Many people find here an excellent spot for fishing, boat launching, kayaking, or simply walking in the breeze to see eagles gliding overhead in the sky.
Bring your outdoor gear and take advantage of all that Mother Nature offers! Or just bring your books and enjoy a few days of total escape from the world. Pink dusk on the beach, moon rise over the lake - these are the constant elements of our days around the year, just varying in the color of the season. We wish for you to enjoy the same. By the way, don’t forget your snowshoes if you come in the winter!
You will be staying in a rustic cottage built with the pine wood from the surrounding forest. It is simple yet clean and well maintained. Living room has central fireplace that gently heats the two bedrooms partitioned from the living room by curtains. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.
Portable area heaters are also provided for each bedroom. They can be set to maintain a temperature when the fireplace lowers down.
Kitchen includes a fridge, electric stove with oven, microwave, small oven toaster, and kettle. If you like to cook, a co-op grocery store is open 7 days a week for all your needs.
No TV but Wi-Fi is complementary. If you stay for a week, we will provide laundry service.
Smoking is only on the deck outside the front door of the cottage.
Pets are welcome. We have foot paths and open land, altogether more than your dog could cover before needing a rest. Plus, we have designated a safe off-leash area. Outside of it, dogs must be 100% on-leash, because we have free strolling cats who appreciate the peaceful environment.
We have many animal neighbourhoods, however, please note that hunting is not permitted.
On site there is also a main house, a barn and some outbuildings in your sight. The cottage is very independent and will not be disturbed.
