The Space:
The Giles House is a one-story bungalow set in Austin's quaint Cherrywood Neighborhood. The romantic dining room sets the scene for a lingering dinner. Take your coffee to the screened in patio for lazy mornings. The bathroom, with a tub/shower, is big enough to accommodate a larger group. The Bohemian feel is lush with exquisite linens and plenty of room to spread out. The house has a warm and relaxed atmosphere with warm paint colors, but plenty of lighting throughout with dimmer switches so you can make the space light and cheery or warm and subdued depending on your mood!

You will have the entire house and property to yourself. The driveway accommodates 1 car and there is plenty of free parking on the street.
The Neighborhood:
The Cherrywood neighborhood is a quiet one, but it is within walking distance of some funky options day and night. There’s Cherrywood coffeehouse that is open until quite late for food, and also has delicious, caffeinated beverages and some fantastic breakfast tacos! There are also some of our favorite restaurants right here. Contigo with gorgeous outdoor dining under the stars. Bobo’s Snack Bar has perfect cocktails and a mid-century mid aesthetic a 10-minute walk from the front door. And Salty Sow is our number one dining spot in the whole city, just a 20-minute walk away. And dozens more nearby! Best of both worlds indeed!
Getting Around:
Lyft and Ubers are fairly affordable in Austin, and should only cost about $10 to most downtown locations!

Per request we can have a pack n play or other kid essentials ready upon your arrival :)

We live close to the house so we will be available if anything arises, otherwise, you'll have complete privacy.
