The Space:
This unique, secluded, peaceful 6 acre property features 3 oversized cottages, a gathering building, a covered fire pit patio, a clubhouse game room and is the perfect spot for your next vacation with:
Grandparents, children and grands
Grown siblings and their children (aka Cousin Camp)
Small family reunions (don’t forget the RV sites on property)
Friends weekend
Couples' getaway
Cottages have similar amenities including main room with small kitchenette with under counter refrigerator, small table and chairs, bathroom with shower and toilet closed off for privacy from large sink area, and a bedroom with large closet. Each has beautiful hill country views with rocking chairs on the front porches. But, each cottage utilizes the space differently for sleeping arrangements:

- One queen pull out sofa in the main room
Prickly Pear Cottage #2 – Sleeps 6
- One King bed in the main room
- 2 sets of Twin over Twin bunk beds in the bedroom
Live Oak Cottage #3 – Sleeps 4
- One King bed in the bedroom
- 2 XL Twin beds in the main room
The Kitchen (aka Gathering Building) has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, disposal, refrigerator, range and pantry; a coffee bar with microwave, coffee pot, ice maker and beverage refrigerator. An island provides the perfect place to serve meals. The dining area has two large tables (with inset leaves for larger capacity) and chairs for 12. (More chairs are available upon request.) Living area includes large TV, DVD player, library of books, games, DVDs. A laundry closet provides washer and dryer for guests along with a half bath. Outside, enjoy a large porch with picnic table and rocking chairs. There is an outside shower located just off the back of the kitchen building as well.
The Fire Pit Patio is a covered concrete slab with stone fire pit and chimney. There are hanging porch swings around the perimeter of the patio and plenty of rocking chairs and adirondack chairs surrounding the fire pit. A countertop provides serving space for s’more fixings and iced tea.
The cottages, kitchen and fire pit patio are connected by a concrete sidewalk for easy access.
BTR Clubhouse (Gameroom) has a regulation size ping pong table, corn hole, other games, a countertop and stools and a wall mounted large TV. Additional tables and chairs for guest use is also stored in the BTR Clubhouse.
2 RV parking spots have electricity and water. And, although septic is not available as a hook up, we offer a septic dump in a convenient location upon departure. Please inquire about bringing RVs.
There is also access to a community boat ramp for an additional fee and can rent a boat slip through the Heart of Texas Resort. There is also a swimming pool, arcade, playscape, and putt putt course available at the resort and can be used if purchase a day pass. Ask us for more information and pricing details!
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire ranch including: the 3 cottages, the gathering building, the game/garage room, the fire pit patio, the RV sites. There is lake access through the Heart of Texas Resort that offers a community boat ramp and boat slips for an additional fee. There is also a day pass available for purchase through the Heart of Texas Resort that would include use of the community pool, putt putt course, playscape and arcade. The Neighborhood:
This home is surrounded by Inks Lake State Park, close to wineries/local restaurants, upper arm of the Colorado River on Lake LBJ, Longhorn Cavern, Spider Mountain, Heart of Texas Resort and so much more.
Getting Around:
Guests will need a vehicle to get to this property and to local attractions.
Other Things to Note:
We are available via phone, email, text, or in person if the need arises.
This home is not pet friendly. If evidence of any pets are found throughout the property an automatic charge of $500 will be taken out of the card on file.

In lieu of a security deposit we require a $75 damage waiver fee through Safely that covers guests up to $5000 in damages to the property.
As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we insure the property against guest-caused, accidental damage with the Safely Protection Policy. The cost of this protection has been included in a Fee on your reservation.
The Safely Protection Policy covers the cost of repairing damage to the property up to $5K for content and dwelling combined.
The fee for this protection is refundable if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date. Any deductible, minimum claim amount, or cost of repair in excess of the coverage limits will be the responsibility of the Guest, and Hill Country Stays will process the payment using the form of payment on file for Guest.
All refunds will exclude a 5% credit card service fee.
The front field near the ravine on the creek bed has a bee habitat that is monitored and controlled by Fain's Honey. Please do not bother or disturb the bee hives.
