Positive: Amorette was very friendly when checking us in and the view is wonderful.
Negative: With a property in this price range one expects a level of comfort. Not so here. Firstly, I believe it should state in the information that this property is on the third floor. If one is physically compromised, the only option to reach the townhouse ,is to get into a very scary lift that swings from left to right as it moves! Next- the sheets on the beds were very crumpled. It looked as if they had been left in a tumble drier too long and then put on the beds. The toilet seat in the bottom bathroom did not look as though it fitted the base of the toilet- it overhung into the bowl at the back. And moved. And as a further insult, the thinest one ply loo paper was on offer. At a rental of this price?!? The tiles on the shower floor were incredibly slippery once wet- in both bathrooms. Not safe. The curtains in the living area did not reach to the floor making the room appear weird when they were drawn closed. The sliding door onto the bottom balcony was very difficult to open and close as it stuck on the rail. We also found popcorn pieces in the large couch and an empty chip packet under a bed.
Summary: Disappointing. Definitely not the standard we are used to when booking a property on Booking.com which has a 9.3 rating
