Cozy Lake Lanier cabin located in Gainesville. Quiet and remote, but also close to shops, restaurants, wineries and breweries. This house has everything you could want and need including short walk to the dock, fireplace, game room, enclosed screened in porch, large outside deck, double decker dock and fire pit, just to name a few. Sleeps up to 10 people comfortably. To add to the charm, there is a full size canoe hanging from the ceiling, you’ll have to see it for yourself!
We are located on the North end of Lake Lanier with direct, easy walking access to the lake and a private double decker dock. Cooler, wagon, lake towels, and lake floats are provided to enhance your lake experience! Spend the time on the dock watching rowers from Olympic park and boats gathering around the “jumping rock” for some summer fun!
After a long day soaking up the sun, feel free to use the Grill located on the downstairs patio and cool up a nice dinner to enjoy on the (bug-free) screened in porch while hearing boats and feeling the nice breeze.
If you’re looking for that alone time (and we all know you can use time away from family) each room has either a smart tv or a Tv with a fire stick. You can also take your favorite drink on the peaceful covered front porch and watch the wildlife.
When you walk into the home, you will find an open concept kitchen and living room flowing together along with a half bath. The master bedroom is located on the first floor with an on suite full bathroom attached. The main floor also has access to a beautiful screened in porch that runs the entirety of the home. You can access the porch via the French doors from living room or French doors from bedroom.
Take the stairs from the living room and walk upstairs to a nice reading nook/loft that has beautiful views of the woods and lake. There is one queen bedroom upstairs and one bedroom with two bunk beds that can accommodate 4 people (children or adults!).
The door off of the kitchen leads to the basement where you will find the game room. The game room includes everything you need to have a fun evening including pool table, dart board, wii (with multiple games and guitar hero), a California speed racing game, a karaoke machine, and a bar made from bourbon barrels. The other queen bedroom is located off of the game room with French door access to the back patio. There is also a full bathroom downstairs and a fully functional laundry room.
While you will feel remote at times, the neighborhood is safe and neighbors are friendly. We do not have an alarm system, but we do have a ring doorbell on the front door as you enter. Plenty of parking is available with the possibility for 6 cars to be parked. The house offers very strong wifi with nest routers on every floor.
Although there is no "dedicated work space", there is plenty of space to use as your "office" if you absolutely need to work during your vacation, OR if you would like to work from a beautiful environment!
This is a true retreat to enjoy with family and friends for the true lake cabin experience.
