Our lovely lakefront home is a short 35 minute drive from Grand Rapids. Our home has a spacious, inviting, comfortable open feel for your time away. It is GREAT for relaxing and enjoying time together in beautiful, natural surroundings. The mornings will greet you with so many sounds from nature you can't help but smile. In the evening, the frogs and crickets are so loud, you'll be amazed. We think the stars in the sky are brighter here than almost anywhere. There's nothing like a lake house in Michigan!
Serene, relaxing, fun, camp fires, fishing, lounging and so much more. Make your vacation as adventurous or lazy and you wish. This home is perfect for families, corporate retreats, girlfriend getaways, golfers, skiers, honeymooners, beach lovers, and reunions, who will all enjoy a stay in this clean and modern home on the lake.

PLEASE NOTE! Our home is situated on a steep incline down to the lake. None of the bedrooms can be accessed without walking down at least one flight of stairs first! The path to the lake is very manageable for most, but elderly or disabled guests may have trouble. Further, parents should be mindful of the railings in the loft which are not safe for unsupervised young children. The beach is sandy and gradual but we highly recommend non-swimmers wear life jackets at all times.

Things to do in the area:
Fall: ArtPrize downtown Grand Rapids, Visit a local orchard for you-pick apples, hay rides, pumpkin trains, cider and doughnuts
Winter: Enjoy ice fishing, a roaring fire outside, bring your snowmobile to enjoy the lake or local trails. Downhill skiing is 5 miles from our home.
Other things to note
Grattan Raceway is near the lake and you can hear the slight buzz of engines Saturday and Sunday morning for a short time. Great track to visit if you enjoy racing or, are curious!
