The Eagle's Nest will feel like home the second you walk through the door. It is equipped with everything you need to enjoy a great and relaxing getaway. Whether you come for the beach, to ski, golf, mountain bike, or just to unwind and enjoy the beautiful nature and all that the valley offers, the Eagle's Nest will be a great place to call home while you are away!!
This cozy home we refer to as the Eagle's Nest is situated in Timber Ridge II, and has four bedrooms. It is equipped to sleep up to 12 people (8 people at given nightly price and $30/guest/night after that), however there is only 4 bedrooms. Three bedrooms with a queen in each and a king in the primary bedroom. Two single floor mats and a queen floor mattress can be utilized for extra guests.
Timber Ridge is a private year-round recreation community that includes gated access to a park, beach area, boat launch, tennis and volleyball courts, and walking trails. Award-winning golf courses, including Copper Point and Eagle Ranch are within a 5 minutes drive and Grey wolf located at Panorama ski hill is a 30 minute drive. Both Fairmont and Radium Hot Springs Resorts are only a short drive to a relaxing night in the natural hot springs. In the winter months, the Panorama Ski Resort and Fairmont Ski Resort are each less than 30 minutes away by car. The beautiful "White Way" that is looked after by the local municipality, provides over 30km of well maintained skating track and cross country ski track. The White Way is the worlds longest skating path. Hockey, ice fishing, and snowshoeing are also favorite winter pastimes around the lake. Whether it is relaxation or activity that you are looking for, the Eagle's Nest and area will not disappoint!!
As you walk in the door on the main floor you will be welcomed by a warm open concept that is sure to provide a place to make many great memories. The main floor of the home offers an open living area with comfy couches to relax in front of the fireplace. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils and tools that you will need to provide you and your family with a great place to prepare meals together. The eating bar comfortably sits three people and the kitchen table can seat up to six. Sit out and relax on either the top or lower deck that overlooks the beautifully treed backyard. Mornings can be enjoyed sitting on the front deck in comfy chairs enjoying the warm sun. The Eagle's Nest has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master bedroom with ensuite is found upstairs. It offers a king sized bed and has its own private third deck. On the main floor you will find two separate bedrooms with a queen bed in each. The walkout basement features a second open living area with couches and a TV. The cozy fourth bedroom of the home is also found on this lower walkout level. The basement walks out into a quiet and privately landscaped backyard. The front paved parking area allows for two large vehicles or can be used to park your boat.
Your private parking card and gate access will be provided and is to be returned upon your departure. Upon your arrival some other helpful information, will also be available in a binder (presently being worked on) to help you plan your stay at the Eagle's Nest!!
This House Will Not Be Rented For Any Type Of Party (Ie: bachelor/Stagettes, Grad, Etc). It Will Only Be Rented To Families And To Individual Groups Over 30 Who Are Looking To Enjoy The Valley And Spend Time Relaxing. The Eagle's Nest Is A Non Smoking Home And The Full Damage Deposit Will Be Collected If Found To Have Contravened The Rules.

Summary: This house was perfect for our family getaway. Fantastic kids room downstairs, so we could claim the upstairs for adult usage. The fire pit was great (although a fire ban started after our second night there). The trampoline and zip line were also enjoyed by the kids. The kitchen is very well stocked and we had no problems cooking for everyone while we were there, which was a huge plus. We also enjoyed the seating area out front, quite relaxing. Great location, the view is fantastic, and very convenient to get in and out. We didn't really use the beach facilities much, we preferred the beach at Invermere instead. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for families. The only suggestion I have is that the mattresses on the main floor were a little bit on the cheap side, and were a little sore on my hips while I slept. The host only allows 1 bag of garbage, which isn't a lot for 10 people staying in a house over the better part of a week. For the rent charged, we would have gladly paid an extra amount on the cleaning fee to have them deal with the garbage.
