The Space:
Imagine waking up to the gentle light of a beautiful sunrise. You step out on to the deck and smell the fresh mountain air and see rolling mountains in the distance. Cup of coffee in hand, you sink in to the outdoor couch and soak in this moment. What will you choose next? Maybe start a fire and enjoy the sounds of the crackling wood? Or head inside and slip on a bathing suit and take a soak in the hot, clean hot tub? Or maybe adventure out for a hike? The options are endless at Banley Ridge!
The view that you get at Banley Ridge is one of the most breathtaking you'll ever see. But there's more to this magnificent two-acre property than its spectacular setting and all the other amenities you've come to expect. It's a place where you can slow down life and reconnect with your family and friends.
Step outside onto the upstairs wraparound deck and you'll find a stacked stone wood-burning fireplace, 70” outdoor TV, a gas grill, custom patio furniture, and a wine barrel serving as a table on which you can set your drink of choice. You can settle into a rocking chair or head to the downstairs deck into the seven-seat hot tub and relax while taking in the amazing sunrises and sunsets.
Head back inside and take in the open main floor living area which is spacious and comfortable, with a stone gas fireplace and HD Smart TV above it, one of six in the cabin. Log in to your favorite steaming service and catch up on your shows!
The adjacent kitchen is state-of-the art, with granite countertops, white pine cabinets, stainless steel appliances including a gas stove/oven, double size refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher and microwave, a crockpot and a Keurig coffeemaker. The kitchen island seats three, and the dining table—a lamp from a decommissioned cargo ship above it—seats four.
Downstairs, you'll find another stone gas fireplace, Smart TV, black top pool table, board games and two lounging chairs that pull out into twin beds.
The three bedrooms are cozy and welcoming, each with a king bed and 42” Smart TV. The main floor master has deck access and a private bath with double vanity and walk-in shower. There are two bedrooms on the lower level that share a bathroom with tub and shower, and a powder room with a washer/dryer on the main level.
Banley Ridge is located in Epworth in the heart of the Cohutta Mountains, a 25-minute drive from both downtown Blue Ridge and McCaysville, and close to popular destinations like Mercier Orchards and activities like hiking, fishing, boating and skeet shooting. A tankless water heater keeps the water hot, ceiling fans and A/C throughout keep you cool, and the memories you'll make there will last a lifetime.

The Neighborhood:
This cabin is up a long road and is about 25 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, or any other area that provides goods and services. Please keep that in mind when planning meals. Downtown Blue Ridge is a fun place to dine and shop, however a lot of the restaurants close early and open late, as they are run by local families. Please make sure to make reservations or call ahead when you plan to dine downtown. We would be happy to make recommendations!
Getting Around:
This cabin is in the mountains. You will need a vehicle to reach the cabin. During months where there is snow, AWD/4WD is highly recommended.
Other Things to Note:
Please note that there is little to no cell phone reception in the area leading up to and at the cabin. However, we do provide very fast Wi-Fi for your use. Please ensure you download driving instructions prior to driving up to the cabin. Also, although the roads are paved, if there is snow on the ground, the roads can be slick and AWD/4WD is recommended. When the roads are clear, there is no need for AWD/4WD.
