Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The staff were amazing at the front desk. Although they stated there was an issue with finding our reservation and then having to put us in two different rooms for the two nights they were very polite, professional, and did everything they could to help us be comfortable. The rooms were okay. The rooms had a sleeping area, bathroom and seating area. We had a great view of the golf course. I was surprised that the Continental breakfast included some hot foods and a variety of options.

Negative: I didn't like that there was an issue between Red Awning and the hotel itself causing us to have to stay in two different rooms. The rooms and facilities were older and felt very run down. The restaurant on site was limited in service and when we could find it open it was only one person helping and we stood at the door for so long we thought maybe they were not open only to find out we had to seat ourselves. Although the site is a ski resort it was very hard to see how it would be better during the winter season. The first room we were in the bedroom portion was closest to the door causing a lot of noise from the hallways to disrupt sleep. The breakfast room was very dirty and the staff could not keep up with the amount of people.
