Positive: We were staying here with my family in the beginning of August, the town was packed so this was one of the available options. - The hosts are super nice, welcoming and helpful; - The apartment itself is in a great location - on a hill overlooking the entire town with a supermarket nearby; - The pool and it’s area are clean and well maintained; - It’s far enough from all the noise, but not that far to feel isolated - just perfect; - In front of the house is enough space to park at least 3 cars and it’s only for the guests and the owners of the house - you won’t have to worry about parking space, which is a big deal during the season; - More importantly - you’ll have the apartment and the pool all to yourselves! The hosts live in an apartment below, but they never intruded on our stay and were always very considerate. Overall - if swimming in the sea is not the priority, but to have a good time in a great place is, then you’ll have a hard time finding a better option for your stay.
Negative: However, if you want come to Neum and dip your toes in the sea, be ready to make a loooong walk up and down the hills to any of the beaches if you choose to stay at this property. If you choose to go to the beach by car, then expect to spend at least an hour trying to get a parking spot on very narrow and packed streets somewhere nearby or wait in a long line to the town’s parking lot in the center. But this isn’t the property fault, you just have to come with set expectations. However, there were some thing we felt like were missing from the apartment: - No washing machine, luckily we came prepared; - No microwave, so any food you’ll get you’ll have to reheat on the stove; - The Wi-Fi was a little slow at times.
Summary: Best family option in Neum, period, that is, if you’re not looking to spend time at the beach. But, honestly, the proper
