Relax on the sunny deck, walk along West Cliff Drive and fall asleep at night to the sound of crashing waves. Cowells Surfside is a clean, one- bedroom apartment located two houses from West Cliff, behind a main house and above the detached garage. Surrounded by plants and a garden it has beautiful views of the Monterey Bay, Boardwalk, Santa Cruz Wharf and Santa Cruz Mountains. The apartment has bamboo floors, granite counters and large sunny windows. The living room has a pullout sleeper sofa making space for children or additional guests. There are plenty of linens and towels along with a stocked kitchen. Included with your stay are two beach cruisers, boogie boards and beach chairs. The deck has a working gas grill for outdoor cooking. It’s a perfect get away for a couple of small family.
The apartment gives you walking access to many beaches, great surf spots, the Boardwalk and SC Wharf, wine tasting and shopping. Athletes have been renting here for years to have easy access to triathlons, surf contests and other races. Families love it for the proximity to the Boardwalk and downtown. Travelers return every summer and fall to enjoy the fun and beauty of our town.
