Positive: We were met by the friendly owner of the property who showed us the way and handed is the keys. Maps shows the correct street, but you have to walk around the corner to get to the right number. The place is right in the centro storico, with lots of bars and restaurants only minutes away. The famous Spaccanapoli street is right around the corner and it is a 25 minute walk from the main train station. Quiet at night. There is a good kitchen and a separate bedroom with a soft bed. The owner is very kind, but does not speak any English. With google translate, we could make ourselves understood, so it worked out fine.
Negative: It is a rather dark place and for me, the air freshener smell was too strong. The toilet can be a bit smelly without it, though. No windows, other than the one next to the front door, so not much light. But this is how all places are in the centro storico and I imagine in the warm spring/summer months, this place stays lovely and cool! We only stayed one night before a flight. For a long(er) stay, I would maybe pick a different place.
Summary: Good value for money for a night in the lovely centro storico.
