2 Bedroom Apartment with Balcony, Security and Barbecue
Beautifully renovated granny apartment above the rooftops of Dresden.
Room
1: bedroom with double bed 160x200; room
2: Bedroom with fold-out double couch 150x200 and dining area; additionally for children (!) a thick foldable sleeping mattress;
3: Living room with sofa with sleeping function for 1-2 sleeping places.
With a full occupancy of 6 adults it gets quite cramped. Optimal: 4 adults or families with children.
Now also with washing machine in the cellar.
We lovingly renovated the upper floor of our house in December 2017 and are now happy to make it available to travelers :-)
The apartment is accessed via a separate entrance via a spiral staircase. The apartment is therefore NOT suitable for people who have difficulty walking, cannot climb stairs or need accessibility for other reasons.
The attic apartment consists of 3 rooms (bedroom, living room, bedroom/dining room, all together approx. 50m2). The bedrooms can be darkened by means of external blinds. A high chair for small children is available. There is also a nice, small bathroom with shower, as well as a kitchenette with dishwasher, fridge and stove.
The apartment offers a wonderful view over the whole of Dresden and into our garden with pond. The house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet area (please note additional information at the end of the text).
For families: A public playground (newly built in 2021) is a 3-minute walk away; from spring to fall, the ice cream parlor is also a 3-minute walk away.
Public transport connections: 3 minutes on foot to the bus stop; 8 minutes on foot to the streetcar stop.
Public transport takes you to the popular Neustadt district in just under a quarter of an hour. The old town can be reached in approx. 20 minutes.
Additional information: The house is located in the flight path of Dresden Airport. This means that airplane noise can occasionally be heard during the day. There are no night flights and the flight schedules are resident-friendly (i.e. sometimes 2-3 planes come one after the other, but then none come for hours).
