Positive: Clean, light, quiet, close to Spar, lovely view, easy parking, good AC, nice building with lift. Brilliant place & the host very quick to respond to WhatsApp. I would definitely return. A gem for Peralada.
Negative: Booking.com should advise in the property advert if you are required to make an insecure BACS payment for the accommodation before arrival. I was expecting to pay in advance on a credit card but was not able. I was asked to pay by BACS transfer to an International account by the host the week before our stay via the booking.com host message service. Having never been asked that before from booking.com nor had my friends, I was concerned and ended up spending a lot of time speaking with booking.com to confirm it was ok. The host wasn’t especially receptive to my concern and threatened to make me pay the full amount as cancellation which didn’t help. Any way all worked out well and very pleased we came to stay.
