Built in 1728, the 2,000 sq. ft. house is one of the oldest in the area. Over the years, the owners have meticulously restored and updated the home. With an unobstructed view of the Catskills, the property is adjacent to scenic and maintained trails near the Hudson River for hiking and running.
The home has four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, two living rooms, full dining room, chef's kitchen, two wood burning fire places and an enclosed outdoor patio overlooking vast fields, wood line and Catskill mountains.
The 5 acre property has a new gunite, heated, in-ground gunite pool with large blue stone patio, a pond and several out buildings including a stone shed.
10 minute drive to Rhinebeck and Rhinecliff Amtrak station. 10 minute drive to Germantown. 20 minute drive to Hudson.

Summary: Couldn't have been happier with this cozy home and quiet, peaceful property. Had two13 year olds and an 8 year old with us and everyone was happy. Pool is great and got lots of use. My favorite part of the house was the back porch. Screened in to protect from bugs; front row seat for view of mountains and wildlife. Perfect place to relax with a book, a coffee or glass of wine, or just your thoughts. Lots of things to do nearby. Owners were super responsive and accommodating. Had a great week!
