Positive: Antares is in a great location on a nice reserve. The stand-out feature is the eye-level hide that affords some great viewing/photography opportunities of the lodge’s private waterhole. While we were there we had visits from impala, kudu, rhinos, terrapin and loads of birds. The staff is friendly, but non-intrusive and did an excellent job of keeping everything clean and tidy. The owner, Ian spends a lot of time at the house, which is unusual for a host. He also serves as the guide for private daily safaris and his knowledge of the bush is amazing.
