Positive: We loved our stay at this house! It’s incredibly homey and peaceful, perfect for anyone looking to escape the city and reset. Tucked away from the crowds, the location is serene and quiet — exactly what we were looking for. The place is clean, cozy, and safe, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It reminded me so much of my aunt’s house in the mountains — not extravagant, but filled with a simple charm that brings back warm memories. You can cook your own meals, sleep comfortably, and truly relax. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and breathe. Highly recommended if you’re after a quiet, no-fuss getaway that feels just like home.
Negative: While we really appreciated the peaceful ambiance and homey feel of the house, there were a couple of things that made our stay a bit inconvenient — especially at night. One main concern was the location of the toilet. It’s outside the main living area, near the entrance gate — still part of the house, but you have to go out from the bedroom, pass through the living room and kitchen, and step out onto the patio/foyer to access it. This setup made it uncomfortable, especially when needing to use the bathroom in the middle of the night — you’ll definitely feel the cold Benguet breeze. There is another toilet in the basement, but it’s not ideal either. The spiral staircase doesn’t have proper lighting, making it unsafe to use at night. If you're a light sleeper or someone who prefers more accessible restrooms, this might be something to consider. Hopefully, the hosts can improve this aspect, because the rest of the stay was truly lovely.
