Positive: The apartment was in a very good location for us. It was about a 5 minute walk to Plaza Circular and about 15mins to the Cathedral and the heart of the old town. At Plaza Circular there is a tram stop and bus stops as well. There was also a supermarket, fruit shop and bakery very close by. Opposite the accommodation there is also a take away with Spanish food. The apartment was very well equipped and there was plenty of storage in the bedroom. One of the best aspects of the apartment was the fantastic communication with the hosts. They were extremely happy to help, for example when we asked if there was a kettle, they brought one from their office! They kept checking to see if we needed anything else and even offered to store our luggage if we needed.
Negative: One of the downsides is the layout of the apartment. It almost feels like a converted garage because it is one long space divided up. Unfortunately, the apartment suffers from lack of natural light. There is only one small window at the front in the living room but we always kept the blind down as it faces onto a street where a lot of people walk past and you don't have any privacy. There is no window in the bathroom nor bedroom so it is also difficult to ventilate properly. In addition, we found it was very noisy during the night because it seems like there are some water pipes running just above the bedroom as there was constant noise of water flowing. We also felt the name 'Loft' felt a bit misleading as the apartment we had was actually on the ground floor and the front door opened straight into the living room from the street.
