Due to Covid-19. Ft Lauderdale and the county of Broward which has prohibited short term rentals from operating. This has caused financial distress, and therefore I have had to close my business of "Oakland Park Oasis" and sell this property.

Oakland Park Oasis is a canal-side home located in Royal Palm Isles - a quiet, residential neighborhood just 15 min from Fort Lauderdale Airport and the beaches. and 40 minutes from Miami Intl Airport. Within walking distance are two family friendly parks.
Royal Palm Park features a lake, basketball/tennis/beach volleyball courts, and a playground. A walking path around the lake complete it. Easterland Park protects a cypress tree sanctuary. This park also has a lake, with turtles and ducks, and a Frisbee golf course. It's many paths make for a relaxing walk through nature. Golfers will have plenty of options for enjoyment too, with putting greens just 1.7 miles away, and two golf courses in the area (Jacaranda and Woodland).
Recently purchased and renovated (July, 2016), I hope you will love my new contemporary and comfortable home. It features the owner's own photography art work, contemporary paintings, and original Terrazzo floors throughout.
My property is within a cul-de-sac, with only one road in and the same one out, which allows for privacy and peace and quite... very little traffic!

Variety of movies DVD's provided for free, along with Games, and puzzles, for stay at home days/nights.
Enjoy the days/nights watching local wildlife like fish, birds, turtles, iguanas, and ducks from the 85 degree HEATED pool or from the deck...or fish off the edge of the property, polls and tackle provided!
The completely remodeled master bedroom has a comfortable name brand king sized bed and spacious closet, with contemporary glass doors. The en suite features high-end fixtures and details, has a walk-in shower with hand-held European wand, and a built-in bench for relaxing. A mounted 42” HDTV with cable and a Google Chrome-cast completes the room. Large dresser and closet space.
The second bedroom features a name brand queen size bed, a 38” HDTV, and overlooks the pool area. Dresser and closet space.
The third bedroom features two twin beds. Shelving and closet space.
The newly remodeled guest bathroom is fully tiled and features a shower and tub with a glass door.
A portable crib (Graco-Pack N Play) is available for your little one to join you on your holiday. (2 sets of sheets included) A portable high chair is also available to complete your family needs. (all located in the large 2nd Bedroom closet)
The living room, with it’s contemporary furnishings, offers a setting for conversation, gatherings and reading.
Relax in the family room and watch the all new 55” UHDTV, cable, Google Chrome cast, Blu-Ray player and Sony receiver.
Plug in your own device and play music throughout the house. Listen to the speakers that sit on the entertainment unit or switch on the ceiling speakers. New "Hey Google" speaker, blue tooth and portable for outside listening by the pool.
A portable boom box with CD player (check the batteries before leaving :) ) is in the unit for the beach or pool.( Located in the Laundry closet.)
The kitchen is furnished with china for dining in, and plastic ware for dining around the pool area. Colorful kids plates, cups, and bowls round out the service.
A toaster, blender, Keurig coffee maker (with coffee/tea/hot chocolate for your first morning provided), Mr. Coffee: Drip coffee maker ( guests supply coffee) immersion blender, waffle iron, small single cup- espresso machine, air popcorn maker, electric tea kettle, pots, pans and baking dishes are all available for your culinary adventures.
The dining area is flexible and can accommodate from 2-10 people. A space saving drop leaf table seats 2- 6 and can be set for the family dinner or game night (puzzles, board games/cards are provided). Or use the bar area of the kitchen counter with the 4 bar stools.
Plenty of linens, towels and blankets are available for your needs. Each room has it's own towels and beach towels. There is a new (2019) full-sized washer and dryer off the kitchen, with detergent pods and bleach. An iron and ironing board are also in the laundry area. A hair dryer is available as well. Beach chairs, towels, a beach umbrella, and cooler, small backpacks, boogie boards, are also free and available.
Outside you have an additional living space, complete with a cushioned couch and chairs and tables. While gauze curtains allow you a bit more privacy, the provided candles add a romantic touch. The heated pool 85 degrees is fun and relaxing, and comes with rafts, noodles and other play toys for the kids. There are 2 NEW lounge chairs and 2 New gravity chairs for your relaxation.
A NEW glass patio table, with seating for 6, allows you to dine in the sun or the shade using the under lite umbrella. A propane grill is available for cookouts, along with a full set of cooking utensils and accessories. Extra propane on site.
A private outdoor shower is available before and after you swim, as well as those late night showers under the stars. New 2018 Privacy fence, thanks Hurricane Irma!
Your house manager, Adelson, will be able to address any situation that arises. Adelson is fluent in Portuguese, some Spanish and English.
My home is maintained by a pool cleaning service on Thursday early mornings, and a lawn service. A gardener is also on premise and he will let you know before he goes in the back to work. Unless there is a garden emergency, he doesn't show up when guest have checked in.
We deliver the house to you freshly cleaned and supply basic cleaning supplies. (under the sink are supplies) Additional cleanings, including changing the beds, washing dishes, and cleaning of the entire house, are available for additional charge and can be scheduled during your stay. $30.00/ hr, one hour minimum or entire house for $150.00. This service MUST be paid for at time of cleaning. Or double the cost will be taken out of security deposit.
Beaches are only 5 miles away, along route A1A.
Shopping: Wilton Manners, Galleria Mall, Las Olas Boulevard, Boca Raton. Bal Harbor, Lincoln Mall (Miami. Miami's new Design Center and Sawgrass Mills outlet Mall.
Attractions: Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi, Museum of Discovery, Atlantic Coast Kayak Company.
Eating Out: Thasos- Greek, Kichenetta - Italian, Steak 954, Capital Grille, Bone Fish, Ruth Chris Steak House, Shooters, Bubbles and Pearls for $1 oysters M-F (Awesome)
NABU- Incredible Sea Food, Sushi Buffet with Hot Items as well. (A Great deal)
Day Trips: Orlando, Walt Disney World (3.5 hr), Kennedy Space Ctr. (2.45hr), Everglades National Park (1.5hr)

Rates are shown, and payable only by US Dollars.
A 3% transaction fee for all Domestic CC charges and a 5% for International CC Charges.
We require 50% of the rental charge when booking to secure your dates, and a $500 refundable security deposit.
Purchase of the Property Protection is highly requested and advised.
The remaining 50% balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If a cancellation occurs within less than 30 days, the guest will lose 100% of the total rental and fee amount paid. Security deposit will be returned.
Check-in is after 3 pm and check out is by 11 am. Call for early or late check-in/out. Will accommodate if possible and reasonable.
