Beautifully furnished Apartment, spacious, quiet, outdoor area ideal for eating. Fantastic Location, 5 min walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.
Amelia’s is good for couples, solo persons, and families. The local idyllic Paynes Bay Beach is only 5 minutes’ walk away. It is a 2 minute walk to the local 24 hour gas station where you can get most groceries including your phone top ups. The local buses are at your fingertips they can carry you to either end of the island; Bridgetown or Speightstown. You can use the transport board bus or you can chose to go on the local reggae bus for merely $3.50.
It hosts two bedrooms that can sleep 4 persons; one twin bed and two single beds. Early morning guest are greeted with the sounds of various birds and local wildlife. It is highly likely you will even see families of green monkeys playing in the local gully. You can relax in the spacious outdoors or explore the treasures that the island has to offer.
Guests have their own entry and there is plenty of parking available. It is fitted with, fridge freezer, toaster, electric kettle, George Foreman grill, microwave, washing machine, hair dryer, iron, and ceiling fans fitted in all rooms and air conditioning units in the bedrooms. Plenty of glassware and crockery for both indoor and outdoor use. Lots of games and books available for those rainy days. A spacious dining table and 4 chairs are situated in the dining area. The living room opens out into a tiled veranda which also has dining facilities which look onto a spacious lawn. This area that can also be used for sunbathing or simply lounging and taking in the fresh air.
Bath towels and bed sheets for each room are provided. There is a first aid kit, fire blanket, smoke alarms, torch and candles in case of an emergency available in the kitchen area. Hand sanitizer, start up kitchen roll, toilet paper and food welcome pack awaits you on your arrival. The accommodation is secure and has door looks and additional grills with locks for your safety. Motion sensor lights are also in operation at the property to add an extra layer of comfort.

Summary: Where do I start - this apartment is A .I was welcomed with a card & birthday cupcakes from the host which was absolutely sweet The apartment is super spacious & clean.It has everything you would need in a home.It really has that “home from home” feel.The apartment is literally across the road from the beach, Tje bus stops to take you to Holetown & Bridgetown are within walking distance.There is a gas station is right next to the bus stops if you ever run out of something you can get it from there.There is a local supermarket called Jordan’s which is reasonably priced if you wanted to do a bit food shopping.If you want Waitrose & Heinz products then there is Massey’s in Holetown.Both supermarkets are 5mins bus ride from the apartment.The apartment is located off a slip road which leads to other houses & Amelia sits at the back.Its very peaceful & enclosed from the main road.There are benches outside in front of the apartment where you can have breakfast etc & watch the roosters & hens go about their day.We was lucky to spot 2 monkeys & the local mongrel who struts past wagging his tail.The host Andrea was very nice & very quick with responses to any queries I had.I would percent recommend this place.The only thing I would advise to anyone that does book Amelia Apartments is to pls DO NOT take up anything & take it back with you..items such as umbrellas & torches etc.The host leaves it there just in case it’s required.I am already planning my next trip
