3 Bedroom House with Bedding, Wellness Facilities and Laundry
40 acres of wooded solitude on the water. Our 3 bedroom/2 bath home sits on 40 wooded acres on an all sports lake. Situated in the middle of the Manistee National Forest and only 20 minutes from beautiful downtown Pentwater and 30 minutes from downtown Ludington.
There are trails throughout the property for peaceful morning and evening walks. The 70 foot east facing deck across the front of the house is a great space to sip coffee in the morning and watch the sunrise. Walls of 7ft windows look out at the lake and woods. There is a public boat launch on the lake if you want to bring your boat. Our home offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom/bathroom offers a queen bed with windows and a sliding glass door facing east, to wake up with the morning sun. The second bedroom offers a double bed as well as a loft with a double bed. The third bedroom offers a twin bed. There is a fire pit to enjoy large family or friend gatherings in the evening, with firewood provided. All linens and toiletries provided.
Grab some fresh eggs from the chicken coop and bring in for your breakfast. There are about 25 chickens. We ask that you leave them alone, but feel free to collect the eggs. There are also 5 barn cats roaming around. They are not allowed inside, but are very friendly if you want to pet them. They love snuggling!
The Big-O motorcycle trail can be ridden to from our driveway, if you want to bring your dirt bikes and drop your trailer in the driveway. ORV trails are also a short distance from our road if you bring side-by-sides or 4 wheelers.
Fishing is abundant off the dock, where you will likely catch bluegill or small mouth bass. If you are ready for a great get-away, with peaceful surroundings, look no further!
This is our personal home. Please be kind to the chickens and barn cats. The chickens provide eggs for your consumption, if you wish. The cats are barn cats, but love to be snuggled. Please be kind.
Last, since this is our personal home, please treat it as your own. Clean up your messes, don't destroy the property, and feel free to love on the animals. We love sharing this amazing space!
