Welcome to cozy Gällnö, an island in Stockholm's middle archipelago with a lively countryside. The island is car-free. The house is located in Gällnö village and has the charm of both old and new. In the old part, the so-called the one-room cabin has a bedroom with two beds and the kitchen, in the new part there is a bedroom, living room and a bathroom with shower and electric toilet. The living room has fresh light finishes, has plenty of windows and access to the lawn through double glass doors. You also have access to an electric grill on the property. Only 200 meters from the house is the country store and a nice restaurant, both located by the water. The island is about 7 km long, big enough to discover all the island's gems on holiday. There are both rocks and a sandy beach to swim and sunbathe at, you can use the owner's kayak which is for one person and life jackets (3) are available. You can get to Gällnö either from Strömkajen in Stockholm, it will be a lovely archipelago trip in just under two hours, from Boda pier on Värmdö, where there is also long-term parking. From there it is only a 5-minute boat trip with the archipelago boat. If you also want to go shopping, you take the car to Mölnvik on Värmdö, but even more pleasant is to go to Vaxholm, a journey of one hour by boat from Gällnö pier.
