Our house is located just 5 miles from downtown, 5 miles from uptown, 2 miles to Mall of America, and just 10 minutes from the airport and is newly renovated and updated by west coast architect. Don’t forget the Minnesota State Fair!!
You will enjoy two floors of a private home with an on-site property manager (private entrance) who is available to answer questions and assist with your needs during your stay. 3 bedrooms with 5 beds (sleeps 7) with a bright living room to relax together.
Safe and quiet, big yard -- only 7 min from MSP Int'l Airport and Mall of America and many public transportation options at your doorstep.
Walk to the nature preserve, shops, and restaurants and a direct bus to downtown Minneapolis and the Mall of America with no tax on clothing or shoes.
Dozens of trails, parks, and waterways such as the Chain of Lakes and the Mississippi River. Close to Minneapolis Institute of Art, Walker Art Center, bus to Guthrie Theatre or to cheer for the Vikings, Twins, and other Minnesota Sports Team.
You will enjoy both a front and back yard and plenty of parking on the street right outside the home! There are 3 beautiful bedrooms - 2 w double beds, the entire upstairs is yours with 3 twin beds, built-in dressers, plenty of closet space and several workspaces. Gather in the bright kitchen to cook and create meals together! We look forward to hosting you, whether you are a single adventurer, here for work/ business, or a family traveling and exploring beautiful Minnesota.
A quick 10 min walk brings you to Woodlake Nature Center open to the public year-round, and it is free to park and walk the trails (over 2 miles) or enjoy a run, and in the winter rent snowshoes and cross country skis to enjoy their pristine and maintained trails. Just a mile away you will find Southdale Mall, the first original shopping mall in America. Here you will find any kind of store or entertainment or restaurant your heart desires! Or follow France Avenue further south several blocks to The Galleria Shops and Restaurants, as well as the unique and beautiful outdoor park built around ponds and a Lake, called Centennial Lakes. In the winter, go ice-skating to classical music, and in the summer, go miniature golfing by the lake, and enjoy outdoor arena concerts and mini-sailboat races!
The Corner House is also conveniently located near Fairview Southdale Hospital and all its specialty facilities. This is a great spot for traveling nurses, doctors, interns, and other medical workers. We also welcome airline staff (we are former Pan Am and Northwest Flight Attendants).
