This home is perfectly located less than 3 min walk to the free shuttle as well as less than a 5 minute walk to the restaurants and shops of Downtown Winter Park. Unique to the Rock & Stars Chalet, you can vacation like a local by utilizing our private ski locker located at the base of Winter Park. This complimentary locker will allow you to leave your skis at the mountain base overnight and effortlessly grab them in the morning as you walk just a few steps out to the lifts. During the summertime you are located in the heart of a lovely wilderness offering hikes right outside the back door. The location offers epic biking trails, riding along the crystal clear river. The core of the chalet lies on the second floor, where expansive windows not only capture the beauty of the local surroundings but also flood the home with natural light. The kitchen, boasting top-notch Jenn-Aire appliances and a spacious island, entices aspiring chefs to whip up satisfying meals after a day filled with mountain adventures. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area showcases an oversized table where guests can gather for meals, laughter, and shared moments. Additionally, the second floor hosts an open living space with a gas fireplace that invites tranquil moments and relaxation. A large deck on this level comes complete with a built-in gas grill and dining area, offering scenic views of the Fraser River and the National Forest. On the third floor, the Fresh Corduroy bedroom with a King bed is complemented by an attached room featuring double sinks and a luxurious walk-in shower. These two bedrooms share a Jack and Jill full bathroom and are located across the hall from a full sized laundry washer and dryer. Ideal for families or groups, the first floor Bunk Room is a playful retreat with two twin bunks each equipped with a trundle, offering space for up to 6 kids. The Bunk Room features a full bath and an N-64 with four controllers and hundreds of games available. Ascend to the fourth floor to discover the star-filled evening skies of Winter Park while enjoying the mini wet bar area with a fridge. The rooftop deck features a gas fire-pit and a private hot tub, offering the ultimate retreat after a day of adventure in the Rocky Mountains.
