Perfect location in Harwich Port. Located on a quiet street a half-mile from shops and restaurants, and less than a mile from Bank Street Beach. A 6 minute drive (2 miles) to Red River Beach. It’s a quick walk (there is a sidewalk that connects to Main Street) or bike ride into town but when you return, peace and seclusion await. There is a path from the backyard that leads to a birdwatching and conservation area, with 2 miles of beautiful walking and running trails. There is plenty of room to relax away from any noise and traffic.
The spacious, airy home is set on a half-acre of land with a large yard, complete with fire pit and adirondack chairs, and two large decks for entertaining. One deck holds an outdoor dining table (seats 10) and grill for dinners outside, while the other deck hosts a comfortable Restoration Hardware sofa. Freshly renovated for the 2022 season with renovated bathrooms and a new kitchen that flows to the dining room and open concept living room. Beautiful large patio doors lead you from the dining room to the deck, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or relaxing during sunset. Outdoor relaxation is complete with a wood burning fire pit, spacious outdoor shower, and dining table that seats 10.
All new hardwood floors throughout mixed in with grandfathered in terracotta tile. Drift off to sleep on new Casper mattresses, all new linens and towels (included) and carefully curated furnishings. There is newly installed Air Conditioning, with adjustable, remote controlled units in each bedroom as well as the main space.
The house sleeps 11 comfortably. Bedrooms: 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and 5 twin beds. There is one bedroom located on the main floor that holds a king bed and connects to the master bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. There are three additional bedrooms upstairs: One cozy bedroom with a queen bed, one larger bedroom with a queen bed, and a bunk room that contains 5 twin beds (two bunk beds and one day bed). There is one full bathroom upstairs with a combination tub and shower. There is also a half bathroom located on the main floor.
The kitchen has everything you need. The washer/dryer is conveniently located on the main floor. There are amenities such as very fast high speed Internet and a Nespresso machine.
The property is a 12 minute drive to the Wequassett Resort and a 17 minute drive to either the Chatham Bars Inn or Ocean Edge.
