Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Well positioned basic little place, right next to the beach, and great base for exploring the local area. Plenty of space dor 2 people. Very pleasant lady who let us in. She was so pleased my husband was fluent in French! Nice little garden when the sun did show its face. Its basic, but the price we paid reflects that.
Negative: We hadn't realised that we should have brought our own sheets for the beds and it would have 15 euros to hire some for the week. So we went out and bought some. Rookie mistake on our part as we are used to camping or Airbnb and apparently it's the norm in France. Luckily I also brought towels as we would have had hire or buy these too. Fairly near the road so you do get some road noise but it is not a hugely busy road. Sadly we had ants in the house which was a pain. Chairs in lounge could do with updating as they were quite uncomfortable and not ideal for relaxing. This is a basic gite.
