This Maine summer cottage on Bailey Island sits on a high bluff overlooking the ocean. First bought by great, great grandparents on their honeymoon trip, it has been in the family for over 125 years. The bedrooms are beautiful, the dining room is large and sunny, and the view is spectacular! Enjoy sitting on the covered porch with a cup of coffee in the morning, watching the sun rise “out of the ocean”, lobster men hauling their traps and sailboats passing by. Settle in for a lazy afternoon with a good book or explore the island, collect shells on the beaches, rent a kayak and skim along the waves or go fishing.
