2 Bedroom Cabin with Sports, Air Conditioner and Bedding
As soon as you open the car door, you'll understand how "Maggie's Song" got her name. You're met by the soothing sound of a rushing creek, setting the tone for your peaceful, relaxing stay. Step onto the generously sized covered porch where you're sure to want to spend your morning with a hot cup of coffee. Relax in the rocking chairs or curl up on the comfy sofa and chairs.
Open the door and you'll be drawn into the rustic feel of the living room with its stunning architecture. The soaring ceiling, accented by authentic, heavy beams draws your eyes up and gives the room an open airy feel while still lending a cozy warmth. The natural textures and earthy tones of the furnishings have been carefully chosen to wrap the room in serenity. Sink into the generously sized, plush sofas adorned with soft pillows and luxurious throws. A nearby armchair begs you to curl up with a good book or relax by throwing some tunes onto the "vintage" turntable. The custom console table holds plenty of games to pass the time with family and friends on those cozy nights by the fire. There's a large Roku TV to enjoy all your favorite shows and movies. A standard DISH network package is also provided.
The modern, well-appointed kitchen is a sharp contrast amid the rustic beams and knotty pine walls. You'll find everything that you need here to prepare a fantastic meal or a quick snack. For the real coffee afficionado, there's even a French press to make that perfect cup.
Around the corner from the kitchen, you'll find the downstairs bedroom with a plush king-sized bed to crawl into when you're ready to call it a day. A full bath with a shower/tub combo is situated right beside the bedroom. Outside the bathroom is a modern full-size washer and dryer for your convenience.
At the top of the staircase, you'll find the second bedroom featuring a vaulted ceiling and a king-sized bed. Through the sliding glass door, you'll find your private balcony overlooking the firepit. Here you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee while you take in the morning (or night) mountain air.
Right outside the upstairs bedroom, you'll find the second full bathroom, also with a shower/tub combo. Bodywash, shampoo and conditioner and a hairdryer are provided in both bathrooms for your convenience.
The loft area, with it's vintage vibe, is the perfect place to put your feet up and sink into one of the plush chairs or just catch up on your sleep with a long nap.
In the backyard, and across the trickling stream, you'll find the firepit area with seating for six. Enjoy hanging out with family and friends perfecting your smores.
In this spacious cabin, you'll have plenty of space to sprawl out or enjoy as much togetherness as you want. With so many nooks to explore, there's opportunity to enjoy a moment to yourself as well as room to gather with your people.
Things to Do:

Plan a fun family day at Tube World - only 7 min away right in the middle of Maggie Valley. Santa's Land Fun Park and Zoo is located between Maggie and Cherokee and well worth the 30 min drive. The park operates from mid-May thru the end of October. With it's colorful, Christmas-themed rides and attractions, your kids are sure to want to visit again and again. Maggie Valley is packed full of things to do....putt-putt, shopping, gem mining, elk tours (although you may not have to leave the downtown area to see them). A short 25 min drive will find you in quaint downtown Waynesville. Stroll the charming streets and browse the many dining and shopping options Waynesville has to offer. Checkout the town events schedule to see what's going on while you're in town. During the summer months, there's almost always live music at the park on Main Street.
Cherokee is a 30 min drive over the mountain and let the adventure begin! Make the stop at Soco Falls on the way...well worth the few minutes it takes to make your way down to the viewing area. Mingo Falls is a must-see....a 200 ft waterfall on the Qualla Boundary. Then there's a small attraction called Harrah's Casino right in the heart of Cherokee if you're looking to take your chances. Cherokee is also an entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
If your stay is long enough to allow for a daytrip, we are only 1 1/2 hours from Dollywood and all the activities that Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge has to offer.
Downtown Asheville is 45 min away and if you're headed to the Biltmore, you're only a 40 min drive away. You're not far away from anything but far enough to be away from it all when it's time to retreat to your cabin after a long day.
